Online or Print??

I have to confess that, despite my occupation as blogger, tethered to my laptop and the internet most days of the week, I really prefer to read through the internet. However, at the same time I do read using the old media method "Newspaper"...

There are lot of advantages that one gets by reading news online that is responsible for this change. One of the major benefits that one can have is that while reading news online one can switch between different sites fairly easily and can follow different links in a quest to search more and more information. The extent of news feeds given in the newspaper is very restricted when compared to the online news. The main cause is that there are a whole lot of websites that are capable of holding as many news items as possible that cannot be contained by any journalist. While many of the newspaper companies have opened up their own news websites it does not provide as much information as many of the other site collate and provide.

Apart from offering the news online one can even showcase the most happening events in the form of a video on various websites. So one can certainly make a distinction from the online news reading to the paper news. So one can have the better view of what is actually going on.

There is no doubt that the print media is having a tough time in this electronic age. Other advantages of having online news is that there is no charge that one has to pay for it apart from saving on paper. Well, being free of cost can be considered as a benefit to your pocket only but when it comes to the other aspect i.e. it's paperless then it gives much worth to such news. The environment is having a negative impact in an implicit way due to the paper utilization. One of the major reasons for this is that the newspaper is made of paper which is obtained by cutting down trees a major environmental concern. This can be the cause of global warming which is very harmful for our future.

Besides that, they also get comments n feedback through facebook 24/7. But what happen if Facebook just close their door??...Would it be a big lost???...
